McMillanElite Announces Expanded Athlete Benefits for 2008 and 2009
Starting its second year, McMillanElite announces expanded benefits for athletes. Team members now receive:
- Free housing,
- Monthly subsidy for health insurance,
- Comprehensive physiological monitoring including quarterly blood testing,
- Expedited access to physical therapy and medical support,
- Bi-weekly massage subsidy,
- adidas equipment and
- Race travel subsidy
“Our goal has been to provide an opportunity for emerging elite athletes to ‘Go for it’. With the support of our generous sponsors, athletes have all they need to focus solely on being the best runners they can be. We look forward to welcoming new athletes this spring and summer and continuing the resurgence of US distance running.”
